To participate in the Fertility Diet, we require your General Practitioner’s medical certificate sign off.
As a valued member of our program, you will be provided with invaluable tools that may help you have success, including a BMR Calculator. This will give you a recommendation for total daily calorie intake based on your height, age, weight, sex, current activity levels and goal weight. We also give you tools to calculate your frame size and BMI so you know exactly where you’re at.
In order to track your progress as accurately as possible, we will also provide you with guidelines on how to take consistent Before and After photos and daily progress charts to fill in. You will also be required to check in with your consultant weekly, and will have access to a supportive, private group of likeminded members on Facebook.
Whether you are aiming for weight loss as part of your journey towards conception and a successful pregnancy, or you are both just re-balancing your systems to achieve the best fertility health possible, we are here with the necessary information and advice.
Once you join our program, we will give you a customised fertility diet plan, including detailed lists of the right foods for women and men that may help you to achieve success. It is important that both you and your partner should commit to following a healthy diet, as this is a crucial part of ensuring a successful pregnancy and healthy baby.
“Extremely pleased with the results of this weight loss program. After 16 weeks I have lost 25.5kg and 77cm which has resulted in dropping 2 jean sizes!”
The Balance Program usually lasts for 5 days and during this time you can expect an increase in your overall vitality and health. If you have had a particularly poor diet (high in carbohydrates, sugar and gluten), then you may want to extend this to 7 days. During this time, it is extremely important to follow the food list strictly with no calorie counting and to drink 3 litres of water daily.
This step is undertaken until you achieve your weight goal. There are lots of easy to maintain healthy meal choices to ensure you keep the weight off – for life.
